Description
The Hobbywing 5V 3A UBEC is a compact and efficient switching voltage regulator designed to provide stable 5V power output for RC aircraft, FPV drones, helicopters, UAV systems, and onboard electronics. Built for reliable power delivery, the UBEC helps power receivers, servos, gyroscopes, flight controllers, FPV cameras, and other electronic components requiring a stable DC voltage supply.
A UBEC (Universal Battery Elimination Circuit) functions as an independent external switching regulator that operates separately from the ESC, converting a wide input voltage range of approximately 5.5V to 23V into a stable 5V DC output suitable for sensitive RC and drone electronics. Compared to traditional linear regulators, the switching regulator design offers higher efficiency, lower heat generation, and improved overall system stability.
With up to 3A output capability, the Hobbywing 5V UBEC is suitable for powering multiple servos and onboard electronics in FPV drones, RC helicopters, fixed-wing aircraft, FPV video systems, brushless gimbals, and UAV applications requiring dependable and efficient power management.
