Description
The FlySky FS-R9B 2.4G 8CH Receiver is designed for drones, fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, RC cars, boats, and custom robotics projects requiring stable and reliable signal reception. Built on FlySky’s AFHDS 2.4GHz system, it offers low power consumption, high sensitivity, and dependable performance for hobby and advanced RC applications.
Operating on the 2.4GHz band helps reduce interference generated by electronic components such as motors, ESCs, servos, and other onboard devices, delivering smoother communication and minimizing signal glitches common in older frequency systems.
The receiver supports PPM, i-BUS, and S.BUS through its SC port, providing flexible connectivity options for modern flight controllers and RC systems. With low channel delay and compact design, the FS-R9B is suitable for projects where reliable control and responsive performance are essential.

- FlySky FS-R9B 2.4G 8CH Receiver Overview
How to bind the RX (receiver) to the TX (transmitter):
- Plug bind plug into BAT, turn on plane/heli, the LED light should flash (make sure power is connected to RX via ESC)
- Hold down bind button on transmitter module while turning on the TX
- The light should go steady now
- Let go of bind button, turn off plane/heli, remove bind plug, turn off TX
- Turn on TX and then turn on plane/heli
How to Use FlySky FS-R9B 2.4G 8CH Receiver:
- Mount the FS-R9B close to the model’s antenna for best reception;
- Connect your battery or BEC (4.8 V–6 V) to the VCC and GND pins;
- Then plug the servo lead into the SC port for PPM, i-BUS or S.BUS output;
- Power on the receiver while holding its bind button, activate bind mode on your FlySky AFHDS transmitter, and wait for the LED to change from flashing to solid—indicating a successful link.
