Description
The S500 Multi Rotor Air PCB Frame with High Landing Gear for FPV Quad-Copter serves as the upgradation of the F450 Quadcopter Frame while retaining everything that made the F450 successful.
The main advantage of this frame is its arms with a slight upsweep, which gives the quadcopter a dihedral effect that helps make it very stable, especially when descending from altitude.
This S500 Quadcopter Frame is made from Glass Fiber, making it tough and durable. It features ultra-durable Polyamide-Nylon arms that are stronger molded arms with excellent thickness, helping prevent arm breakage at the motor mounts during hard landings. The arms are equipped with support ridges that improve stability and provide faster forward flight.
It features an adjustable battery mount to achieve ideal weight distribution, while the bottom frame is ready to accommodate a variety of camera mounts and gimbals, making it suitable for FPV and filming projects.
The S500 has a strong, lightweight, and practical configuration including an integrated PCB (Printed Circuit Board) that allows ESCs to be soldered directly onto the frame. This makes the quadcopter build process faster and easier while eliminating the need for an additional PDB (Power Distribution Board), resulting in a cleaner installation.
The frame has a wheelbase of 500mm and weighs approximately 400g. It features mounting tabs at the front and rear of the bottom plate for mounting cameras and other accessories.
The landing gear has a ground clearance of 200mm and allows the mounting of cameras and accessories at the bottom of the mainframe. The landing gear has plenty of height, making it suitable for gimbals. The Plastic Landing Gear can withstand sudden crashes during the flying of FPV Quadcopters.
The added lift capacity makes this frame ideal for carrying larger payloads such as camera systems and other electronic components.
The frame comes with pre-threaded brass sleeves for all frame bolts, allowing the arms to be attached within minutes. It requires only one size of bolt throughout the build, making assembly and disassembly quick and convenient.
Such lighter weight, higher strength aerodynamic structure of this S500 frame featuring PA66 arms with glass fiber integrated frame makes it the first choice of many customers.
Note: The dimensions and weight may have a ±2% error.
